CCD Law Spokane Community Scholarship

  • Whatcom County Washington (map)

The CCD Law Spokane Community Scholarship is available to high school seniors who reside in Washington and will be attending college in the fall.

Eligibility requirements:

Whether you are homeschooled or attend a Washington school such as Spokane Valley High School, you are welcome to apply for the scholarship.

We ask that all applicants:

Be a graduating high school senior

  • Be a resident of Washington or Idaho

  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Submit an essay of approximately 500 words in the form below telling us “How can we change the practice of law to adapt to COVID-19?” Covid-19 has fundamentally changed how many businesses conduct their operations. The legal industry is no different. We have fewer face-to-face meetings with clients. Courts are postponing cases and are conducting several hearings digitally. How can we further change the practice of law to adapt to COVID-19 in a way that makes clients feel connected and victims feel heard?

Award: One student will be awarded $500; nonrenewable to be paid directly to college or university admissions office.

The deadline to apply is May 1, 2021. A winner will be contacted by us directly on or around May 15, 2021. (Scroll down for previous scholarship winners).
